The concept of a live edge slab fire table originated from wanting a unique centre piece to complement my timber pergola and cedar barrel hot tub.

I had worked with slabs in the past to make outdoor kitchen/bar counter tops and always appreciated the beauty of the natural wood. After some research and several design modifications I sourced the highest quality components, from the stainless steel standoffs for the bevel edged 12mm glass, the valves, burners, pans and fire logs, and of course the slab itself has to be top drawer. When friends saw the first table they were blown away by how cool the table looked and how it tied the whole backyard retreat together. The live edge slab design is truly a unique standout feature that adds warmth and style to any patio or deck and creates a year round retreat.
